Say hello to HUNTER! (Hunter and Toby are siblings and available for separate adoption. This bio is written for both dogs). HUNTER and TOBY are 10 month old, playful, fun and well behaved pups. They were surrendered to a shelter by their owner who couldn't keep them, though broken hearted to part with them. It is apparent they were well loved as they are both affectionate and loving in return. HUNTER (49 lbs) has a medium rough coat, more grey merle coloring with fringe on his tail. TOBY (45 lbs) has a shorter, smooth coat with more black coloring and a docked tail.

Both dogs are crate trained and quiet overnight for sleeping. Both are respectful of resident feline PuckleCat and love to wrestle & play with their foster mates. Neither has had an accident in the foster home and are respectful of resident feline PuckleCat They know their names and come at a cheerful run whenever called. They do alarm bark but are called off easily. Both boys love toys, especially the deer antlers given to them by foster mom. TOBY is especially affectionate, trying to climb into foster moms lap whenever he gets close enough. Neither dog has been food possessive or toy aggressive and take treats gently from your fingers. Being young energetic lads, they do require daily exercise and activity. An owner household that partakes in frequent walks, runs, biking, hiking etc will work best for them. They do also settle nicely in the evening when the day is winding down. All in all, very pleasant dogs and a joy to have around!

HUNTER is the bolder of the two, quick to leap up onto rock walls for example. TOBY is a bit more of the thinker, taking time to assess situations, but quickly realizing HUNTER is on to good fun and joining in. Both dogs walk nicely on leash and like car rides. They are now ready for their new forever homes, eager to meet their new furever families.

HUNTER is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations.
