Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the welfare of the border collie
Serving the greater Sacramento valley and Sierra Nevada foothills

Meet CASH, a super sweet 6-year-old tri-color male looking for his forever home. CASH is a hugger, wrapping his legs around you and appreciating every bit of love provided. His personality is mellow and playful – he wants to be with you, and to be petted and praised. He loves his BC buddy SCOUT – they play, eat and run together! If you have the capability to take both together, NCBCRA can work out a “2-FER” adoption donation agreement.

At 46-pounds, CASH is a bit underweight (we’re working on that). He has a medium coat, gets along well with his foster pack mates and has a good tolerance with small dogs (see Scout’s description), joining in to play and being a great buddy. CASH walks OK on a leash, does not like cats, is crate-trained, and has learned that pottying is an outside activity.

CASH is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to enquire about CASH, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. CASH is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
