Meet SCOUT, a darling 2-year-old black and white male looking for his forever home. SCOUT can be a shy dog at first contact, but he has a very playful personality and leads a very active life. He loves his BC buddy CASH – they play, eat and run together! If you have the capability to take both together, NCBCRA can work out a “2-FER” adoption donation agreement.
SCOUT’s personality is shy and playful – he wants to be with you, loves belly rubs and ear massages, and responds well to kind words of encouragement. At 33-pounds, SCOUT has a short coat, gets along well with his foster packmates and loves a good squeaky toy or ball. SCOUT walks OK on a leash, does not like cats, is crate-trained, and has not had an accident in the house.
Scout has a medium to high energy level and is very smart. He would do well in an active home that keeps both mind and body busy!
SCOUT is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Adoption Application and wish to enquire about SCOUT, please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. SCOUT is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
