Meet LOGAN, a 2-3 year-old 50 pound BC-Aussie mix with a darling face full of freckles and a beautiful medium-sized coat. LOGAN likes to play and will instigate fun and games with his pack mates. He doesn’t have the BC drive which means that play with his foster BC pack is ‘toned-down’ and more relaxed (but still has lots of fun as you can see in his YouTube video!).
LOGAN came into rescue as a very frightened dog and will need a family to help him be his most confident self. After two weeks with his foster family, steady progress has been made – see the results of his first bath on August 19 and the kisses he is giving to his foster dad! LOGAN’s ideal family would provide a calm and steady environment, and take time to be with him and build a trusting and loving relationship. Rub his ears and he relaxes – LOGAN wants to be loved. LOGAN is crate-trained, sleeps well at night, is mastering his in-house manners, is good with cats, travels tentatively in the car (he drools), walks on leash, and does not dig or chew destructively.
LOGAN is micro-chipped, neutered, heart worm negative and on preventative, and up to date on vaccinations. If you have an approved Northern California Border Collie Rescue & Adoptions Application and wish to enquire about LOGAN please email us at Adoptions@norcalbcrescue.org. If you have an approved adoption application with Border Collie Rescue of Northern California let us know and we will request it be forwarded to us for consideration. LOGAN is being fostered in Granite Bay in Placer County, California.
